Special installation instructions for devices with limit signal transmitter or transmitter

All installation instructions and safety requirements are contained in the respective chapters of
the operating instructions.
The meters can be used in a variety of applications:
• As an intrinsically safe meter in zone 1, if connected to an intrinsically safe circuit.
• As a pressure resistant meter in zone 1, if connected to a non-intrinsically safe circuit.
• As an non-incendive meter in zone 2, if connected to a non-intrinsically safe circuit.
Depending on the model, the meter may be designed to be installed in one of the applications
listed. If you plan to use a meter that was installed in one Ex protection class in a different Ex
protection class, some precautions must be taken before connecting voltage to the meter.
