Mounting Hardware and Adjustments.
WARNING: Adding additional links to the hardware may
reduce the overall strength.

make sure that the teeth on all link joints are properly aligned and
engaged before final tightening. See the warning in the "Important
Safety Information" section in this manual.

the bolts, using alternate threaded holes in the support pad.

* Note: Extra hardware links are available.
A = Angle

** Note: Gear tooth adjustment points are spring loaded for easy
adjustment. When the bolts are loosened, the spring will hold the
support pad and hardware in place while other areas are tightened.
Support Pad Adjustments
The moldable support pad can be shaped by hand or by bending it
over a stable surface.
Operating the Swing-Away Feature on the Mounting Hardware
To swing away the lateral support pad, press the silver release button (A), located on the underside of the assembly.
The assembly will snap back into place when it is returned to its original position. Before use, make sure that the assembly is engaged.
WARNING: If the assembly is not engaged, it will not be locked into place. If not locked, it will not provide the intended support.
