Using the Winter/Summer Hardware feature with Acta-Embrace Back Support Wings.
Note: The Winter/Summer feature adds 1.5" space
between pads (¾" per side).

Pull the knob on the rear face of the back support
and slide the wing assembly in or out before
releasing the knob.

Make sure the Winter/Summer hardware is fully
engaged before use.
WARNING: If the Winter/Summer hardware is
not engaged, the wing will not be locked into place. If
not locked, the wing could slide open would then no
longer provide the intended support.
ADJUSTMENT AND USE
GT2 Mounting Hardware adjustments.
WARNING: Adding additional links to the hardware may reduce the overall strength.
IMPORTANT! After hardware and pad positioning, make sure that the teeth on all link joints are properly aligned and
engaged before final tightening. See the warning in the "Important Safety Information" Section in this manual.
H = Height
Loosen the bolt(s) and slide mounting link up and down on
the back support shell, mounting track, chair cane or wing
slot.
D = Depth
Adjustable in multiple ways:
• Loosen the bolts and slide the mounting link* in and
out on the back support shell or wing slot. This may also
affect the width. *Not available for Track Mount or Cane
Mount options.
• Loosen pad mounting bolts under the pad cover, and
slide the pad along the slots.
• Remove the bolts (under the cover, if applicable) and
reattach the bolts, using alternate threaded holes in the
pad.
W = Width
Loosen the bolts and rotate the hardware links.** Extra
hardware links are available.
A = Angle
Adjustable in multiple ways:
• Loosen the bolts (under the cover, if applicable) and tilt
the pad up and down.
• Loosen the bolt at the end of the pad mounting link and
rotate the pad.**
**Note: Gear tooth adjustment points are spring loaded for
easy adjustment. When the bolts are loosened, the spring will
hold the pad and hardware in place while other areas are
tightened.
