• WARNING: these LOOK pedals are designed and optimized for use by cyclists not exceeding 100 kg
(220.5 lbs).
• Do not use LOOK KEO pedals with casual shoes or with cleats other than those provided for KEO
pedals; your foot may slip causing an accident.
• The cleat and pedal materials were specially designed to work together, the use of cleats other than
LOOK KEO cleats may degrade of pedal performance and could lead to seriously damaging your pedals.
• Before riding on the road, ensure that you are familiar with the proper use of your new automatic
pedals. Practice engaging and releasing several times from the pedals while stopped or during any
other situation where you have a foot on the ground.
• It is highly recommended to read attentively and completely this notice prior to installing and using
these pedals. Be sure to keep this notice. Should you have any hesitation or doubts about the proper
installation and adjustment of your pedals, please contact your local accredited LOOK reseller.

WARNING:
SERIVCE LIFE – WEAR – INSPECTIONS TO PERFORM – The service life of LOOK components depends
on numerous factors, such as the weight of the user and the conditions of use. Shocks, crashes
and in general, inappropriate use may compromise the structural integrity of components, reducing,
potentially significantly, their service life. In addition, during normal use over time, certain components
are subject to wear. It is highly recommended to regularly have your bicycle inspected by a qualified
mechanic to control creaking, any deformations, signs of fatigue and wear. Should the inspection
reveal evidence of deformations, creaking, signs of shocks or fatigue, as small as they may be, imme-
diately replace the component; also be sure to replace any components showing signs of significant
wear. The frequency of inspections is dependent on many factors, contact a LOOK representative to
determine the intervals best adapted to you needs. Should you exceed 85 kg / 185 lbs, increased at-
tention and more frequent inspections of the bicycle and components (with respect to those weighing
less than 85 kg / 185 lbs) is recommended in order to verify if there is any creaking, deformations,
signs of fatigue or wear.
