VIEW: CLEAT – SHOE SOLE INTERFACE
1: Cleat body
2: Adjustment Memory pad: This piece is to be screwed to
the sole of the shoe. It allows for replacement of the cleat wi-
thout re-adjustment. The new cleat snaps onto the adjustment
memory pad (that remains attached to the sole while the cleat
is removed and replaced) placing it into the precise location as
the previously installed cleat.
Note: This feature is applicable only if your shoe is specifically
equipped with a 4th oblong hole down the center of the sole.
If the sole of your shoe is not so equipped, you may still mount
the cleat. In this case, it is essential to leave the adjustment
memory pad in its original position in the cleat.
3: Sole anti-slip pads: these polyurethane pads limit the
risks of slipping between the cleat and the sole, especially
with carbon soles.

1: Bend Radius: LOOK cleats are designed with a bend
radius of 150mm. This bend radius provides a camber to
the sole that is essential to making the shoe comfortable.
For optimal performance, it is important that the sole of the
shoe presents the same bend radius as the cleats. If the
bend radius is not the same, the cleat may deform when
attached to the sole resulting in inadequate support.
2: Pedal-axle mark: the reference mark corresponds to the position of the pedal axle when the cleat is
engaged in the pedal.
3: PAD: see previous paragraph.
