Choosing the right helmet size is important for the safety features
of the helmet, and to afford maximum protection. Your authorized
SCHUBERTH dealer will determine your proper head size based
upon measurements. In addition you may use the following
instructions to ascertain the correct helmet size:
Step 1: Measure your head size.
Step 2: Determine the right helmet size.
Step 3: Make sure the helmet fits properly.
Warning:
Before purchasing and/or wearing a new helmet, please
determine the appropriate size of your helmet and make sure that
it fits properly.
Warning:
No helmet can protect the wearer against all foreseeable impacts!
However, for maximum head protection, the helmet must be of
proper fit and the retention system must be securely fastened
under the chin. The helmet should allow peripheral vision when
secured on your head. If your helmet is too large, it may slip or
move on your head while riding, which may make it possible for
your helmet to come off in an accident or to obstruct your vision
while riding. In the first case, your helmet will not protect your
head in an accident, which can result in serious personal injury
or death. In the second case, poor visibility may increase the
likelihood of an accident.
1. MEASURING YOUR HEAD SIZE
The circumference (in inches) of your head
is the decisive factor in determining the right
helmet. You can measure your head size by
placing a flexible measuring tape around your
head approximately one finger's width (approx.
/ inch) above your eyebrows.

head size in inches.
