Chapter VIII Maintenance

8.1 Precautions
The maintenance shall be performed only by the authorized personnel.
The daily maintenance described in this Manual is necessary for the correct operation and long service life of tire changer. Infrequent
maintenance may affect the operation and reliability of machine and make the operator or other persons exposed to the danger.
Disconnect the power and air sources before any maintenance.
The faulty parts shall be replaced by the professional with the original parts. It is strictly forbidden to remove and modify the safety devices
(pressure limiting valve and pressure regulating valve).

8.2 Maintenance

Clean the large plate with diesel weekly to prevent the dust
accumulation and lubricate the clamping jaw rail. Perform
the following operations at least every month: Check the oil
level in the lubricating oil cup. If necessary, loosen the screw
to fill the reservoir (Fig. 8-1) and lubricate the compressed
air circuit only with the ISO VG viscous lubricating oil (ISO
HG).

Check if there is a drop of oil every 3-4 times of pressing (Fig.
2-1), and if not, adjust it with the top screw (Fig. 8-1).
After first 20 working days, re-tighten the fastening screws
(Fig. 23) of clamping jaw on the large plate slide. If it is
loosened, check if the drive belt is too loose. Remove the
drive belt with the special adjustment screw on the motor
bracket (Fig. 8-2).
