Fit spacer (H-4) into pawl (P-8). Then continue to

assemble using bolt (H-3), support brackets (P-7)
and nut (H-11) as shown.
IMPORTANT! Test fit bolts into holes of backboard brackets and

carefully rock them in a circular motion to ream out paint from holes if
necessary. Flip pawl (P-8) back to allow easier access to assembly
area. Attach lower elevator tubes (P-9) to backboard brackets using
spacers (H-7, H-10 & H-12), bolts (H-6), ratchets (P-10), and nuts (H-8)
as shown.
