注意
調整中の不意の起動による手や指のけがを防ぐため、停止位置の調整は、機能設定
モードで行ってください。

5) Adjusting the synchronizer (Adjusting procedure of both SC-500 and SC-510 is common.)
WARNING :
To protect against possible injury to hands or fingers due to abrupt start of the machine during performing
adjustment, perform the adjustment of the stop position under the function setting mode.
[Adjusting procedure]
¡ Adjusting DOWN position
1. Turn the handwhel to adjust the down position of the needle to the position where top end B of the looper has
scooped loop A of the left needle thread. (See Fig. 1.)
2. Loosen and remove screw 1 in the cover of synchronizer.
3. Loosen by 1/2 turn screw 4 at the top end of the shaft of synchronizer with a screwdriver to make the detecting
plate lightly turn by hand.
4. Turn detecting plate 2 (for adjusting DOWN position) located on the near side of sewing machine handwheel in
the direction of rotation of the sewing machine (clockwise direction), find a position where LED 5 of D lights up,
and adjust the detecting plate so that it is near the center of the lighting range of LED. After the adjustment,
temporarily tighten lightly screw 4 at the top end of the shaft.

［調整方法］
¡ 下位置調整
1. はずみ車を回して、 針の下位置をルーパ先端Bが左針
糸ループA をすくった位置に合わせます。 (図 1参照）
2. シンクロナイザのカバーのねじ 1 をゆるめて外し
ます。
3. シンクロナイザの軸先端ねじ 4 をドライバーで半
回転ほどゆるめて、検出板が軽く手で回るように
します。
4. ミシンプーリに近い側の検出板 2(下位置調整用）
をミシン回転方向(時計方向)に回して、 DのLED5
が点灯する位置を見つけ、LED の点灯範囲の中央
付近になるように検出板を調整します。 調整後、 軸
先端のねじ 4 を軽く仮止めしてください。
¡ 上位置調整
5. 頭部側のマーク 8の中心からはずみ車のマーク 7
を回転方向に 10mm 回した位置に合わせます。
6. 仮止めした軸先端ねじ 4 をゆるめます。手前側の
検出板 3(上位置調整用）を時計方向に回して、U
の LED6 が点灯する位置を見つけ、 LED の点灯範
囲の中央付近になるように検出板を調整します。
注： この時、1. 〜 4. で調整した下位置側の検出板
が動かないように手ではずみ車にしっかりと押し
付けてください。
7. 以上で、 上位置、 下位置の調整は完了です。 しっか
りと軸先端のねじ 4 を締め付けてください。
8. 調整後は必ずカバーを取り付けてください。
糸切り装置を使用せず、上下停止位置仕様と
して使用する場合は、機能設定 No.74 を
「1(糸切り)/0(上下位置)」に設定変更して
ください。 （SC-500,SC-510 共に設定方法
は共通です。 ） 設定を切り替えないと、 糸切り
安全装置エラーとなりミシンの操作不能とな
りますのでご注意ください。
