Checking and switching on personal protection switch

1. Connect mains plug of the vacuum cleaner to plug socket.
2. Set main switch on the vacuum cleaner to position I.
9 The vacuum cleaner is running.
3. Press TEST button on the personal protection switch
9 The vacuum cleaner switches off.
4. Set main switch on the vacuum cleaner to position 0.
5. Press RESET button on the personal protection switch
9 The red function indicator lights up.
9 The personal protection switch and vacuum cleaner are ready for operation.
If the function test fails several times:
1. Have personal protection switch and vacuum cleaner checked by qualified personnel.
Installing the submersible pump
See Fig. C.
r There is no filter bag and no dirt in the container.
Prepare the submersible pump:
1. Open latches.
2. Remove cover from the container.
3. Unscrew Geka-
tainer (C1).
4. Make sure that sealing ring on elbow union is not lost.
5. Screw elbow union to hose connector on submersible pump (C2).
Fix the submersible pump inside the container:
1. Place submersible pump in the container (C3).
2. Make sure that sealing ring is mounted on elbow union.
3. Guide outside thread of elbow union through water outlet opening on the container (C4).
4. Screw Geka- or C-coupling

5. Fix submersible pump to container with the detachable cable tie (C5).
Establish electrical connection:
1. Remove grommet from the feed-through (C6).
2. Lead plug and connecting cable of the submersible pump from the inside through the feed-through to the
outside of the container (C6).
3. Close feed-through on the container with the grommet (C7).
4. Place cover on the container.
5. Close latches.
6. Connect plug of the submersible pump to the socket on the cover (C8).
