PROGRAMMING OTHER FUNCTIONS

7.1 - Programming/Setting an intermediate position (H) for partial opening/closing

The intermediate positions "H" for partial opening/closing can be programmed or set only after programming limit positions "0" and "1". Up to 30 intermedi-

ate positions can be programmed, and each must be associated with the button of another transmitter with respect to that used to control the Up, Stop and

Down manoeuvres. This will enable recall of the required position "H" during normal use of the automation. Therefore, before starting the procedure below,

ensure you have a second transmitter.

Warnings:

– The procedure programs/sets a single intermediate position "H". To program/set other positions, repeat the entire procedure,

– To modify an existing position, simply repeat the entire procedure and at point 06 press the button associated with the position "H" being modified.

– To cancel the procedure during execution, press buttons n and t on the transmitter at the same time and hold them until the blind carries out 6 move-

ments, then release the buttons.

Before starting the procedure, move the blind to the point of maximum

extension.

01. (on the base transmitter) Briefly press button s to start the UP manoeu-

vre and interrupt by pressing button n when the blind is approximately

at the point where position "H" is to be set (partial opening/closing).

02. (on the base transmitter) Press and hold button n for a few seconds

and release it after the blind has completed 2 movements.

03. (on the base transmitter) Press and hold buttons s and t for a few sec-

onds and release them after the blind has completed 2 movements.

7.2 - Disabling/Enabling the "RDC" function (motor torque reduction)

This function automatically reduces the motor torque when the fabric traps during an opening or closing manoeuvre; in some cases it may also stop the cur-

rent manoeuvre to avoid damage to the fabric. During the closing manoeuvre, as soon as the blind reaches the mechanical stops or edge of the casing, this

function reduces the motor torque to prevent the fabric from remaining tensioned at the end of the manoeuvre. This function is also enabled during the open-

ing manoeuvre in the event of any obstruction to motor movement. The factory setting enables this function; however it is recommended to disable it in the

case of mechanical faults on the blind (e.g. excessive jerking movement on start-up of the manoeuvre) which lead to frequent activation of the function and

interruption of the manoeuvre in progress).
