MAINTENANCE
Clean the outside of the headset regularly with warm soapy water.
NB! Do not immerse in liquid. If the Lite-Com III is exposed to moisture on the inside, the
hygiene kit should be removed and the protectors should be dried out.
Do not store the headset at a temperature over +55 °C (behind a windscreen or window for
example). The headset (the ear cushions in particular) can wear out over time. Check often
and regularly for cracks or sound leakage. Certain chemicals may also be harmful to the
product. Further information may be obtained from the manufacturer.
When the battery indicator on the LCD is no longer visible and the Lite-Com III gives off a signal
for low battery voltage (repeated voice messages for five minutes), it is time to replace the
batteries. The Lite-Com III shuts off automatically after five minutes.
Never replace (insert) batteries while the electronic unit is switched on. Before switching on
the unit, check to make sure the battery is properly inserted. Rechargeable Ni-MH batteries
have a maximum of 1.2 V so even when the accumulator is fully charged the battery indicator
will not display a position beyond 3.
The headset must be put on, adjusted, cleaned and maintained according to these
instructions.
If they are not followed, attenuation and function may be negatively affected.
