(C1) adjusts the pressure angle in relation to
the floor surface. Regulating screw (C2) is
used to set the height and thus the pressure
of the suction lips on the floor surface. By me-
ans of the support wheel of the suction nozz-
le (A16), the suction lips adapt to the floor sur-
face at all times.
4.4 Starting the machine up
The pictograms affixed to the cover (A1) of the
machine indicate the sequence required
when starting the cleaning process.
E-models:
– Plug the EMERGENCY-OFF connector (D1) in
– Connect the supply cable to the 230
V/50Hz power outlet
– Lower the brush housing (A5) by means of
the brush lowering pedal (C7). The water
supply and brush rotation start automatically.
– Manually lower the suction nozzle by means
of the nozzle lowering lever (A14). The suc-
tion function starts automatically.
– Depending on the degree of soiling, adjust
the water quantity by means of the water
dosing device (D3).
– Move the machine off immediately, as soon
as the brush motor has been switched on,
otherwise lasting ring-shaped abrasion
marks may result. If the machine remains
stationary for more than 3 seconds, the
brush housing should be switched off.
B-models:
– Remove the battery charge connector
(EMERGENCY-OFF connector) (D1) from the
battery charger cable and plug it into (D2)
– Switch the main key switch to ON
– Lower the brush housing (A5) by means of
the brush lowering pedal (C7). The water
supply and brush rotation start automatically.
– Manually lower the suction nozzle by means
of the nozzle lowering lever (A14). The suc-
tion function starts automatically.
– Depending on the degree of soiling, adjust
the water quantity by means of the water
dosing device (B2, D3)
– Move the machine off immediately, as soon
as the brush motor has been switched on,
otherwise lasting ring-shaped abrasion
marks may result. If the machine remains
stationary for more than 3 seconds, the
brush housing should be switched off.
A-models:
– Remove the battery charge connector
(EMERGENCY-OFF connector) (D1) from
the battery charger cable and plug it in
– Switch the main key switch to ON
– Lower the brush housing (A5) by means of
the brush lowering pedal (C7)
– The brush motors and the water are started
at the same time that the drive activation
(H3) starts
– Manually lower the suction nozzle by means
of the nozzle lowering lever (A14). The suc-
tion function starts automatically.
– Depending on the degree of soiling, adjust
the water quantity by means of the water
dosing device (H4)

Description of the drive console:
– Pushing the drive activation lever (H3) for-
ward = drive forward (infinitely variable)
– Pulling the drive activation lever (H3) back =
drive in reverse (infinitely variable)
– If the red LED (H5) on the operator console
lights up, this indicates an overload of the
drive motor. Turn the main key-operated
switch (H2) to ON-OFF to initiate a reset.
The machine is then ready again.
N.B.:
A temperature monitoring system is fitted in
order to protect the movement electronics.
The movement drive is taken out of operation
for approx. 3 minutes if the limit value is ex-
ceeded. At the same time the LED indicator
does not light up.

4.5 Emergency brake

If an obstacle is encountered suddenly, pulling
the EMERGENCY-OFF connector (D1) will
bring the machine to a halt at once.
4.6 Water level and foam monitor
– The dirty-water tank is equipped with an
electronic sensor switch-off device (E9, F9)
which switches off if it has been continu-
ously short-circuited for 9 sec. by water,
foam or salt deposits
– When there is no longer a short-circuit, the
suction motor automatically starts up again
after 9 sec.
Long-lasting foaming – the red LED
(B7) lights up
E-models:
– Empty the tank, let the foam subside, or re-
move salt deposits between the sensors
– Unplug the mains cable
– Plug the mains cable back in
– The LED no longer lights up
B-models:
– Empty the tank, let the foam subside, or re-
move salt deposits between the sensors
– Activate the reset function of the main key-
operated switch (H2) ON – OFF
– The LED no longer lights up

4.7 Reset function

Activating the reset function (main key-opera-
ted switch ON – OFF) resets the drive electro-
nics or the base electronics (brush motor and
suction turbine) to their original settings. This
function does not need to be saved.
If the following basic PCB limiting values are
exceeded, the respective functions switch
off as follows:
– Drive motor:
at 14 A for 10 sec.
– Brush motor l+r:
at 27 A for 25 sec.
– Suction motor:
at 20 A for 10 sec.
4.8 End of work
– Lift the brush housing by activating the
brush lowering pedal (C7)
– Lift the suction nozzle (C4) by activating the
lowering lever (A14). It takes approx. 7 sec.
for suction to stop
– Because of an in-built valve, there is no
need to turn the water dosing device to the
0-position
– Turn the main key-operated switch (B1, H2)
to OFF and remove the key
– If the machine is parked on an inclined sur-
face, the brush housing with the work ele-
ments can be lowered. Before the machine
is left unattended on an incline, it has to be
secured against unintended movement
and/or rolling away
Emptying the tank
Membrane:
– Drain the freshwater by means of the di-
scharge hose (A13)
– Suspend the membrane (F3) by the mem-
brane bag seal (I2)
– The outflowing dirty water is regulated by
means of the discharge hose (A12)
– Wash off and rinse out the entire tank and
the membrane with clean water
Solid-wall tank:
– Lift the splash baffle (E6) and rinse out the
dirty-water tank with clean water
4.9 Work methods
First sweep the floor to be cleaned or mop.
Direct cleaning method
– When scrubbing the floor, ensure you over-
lap by 3-5 cm on each pass.
– Adjust the water supply and drive speed to
the degree of soiling of the floor.
– Keep a keen eye on the floor in front of and
behind the machine. Ensure the dissolved
dirt is being rinsed away with sufficient liquid
in one working pass.
Indirect cleaning method
– Heavily soiled floors are first thoroughly wet-
ted with cleaning solution which is then left
to act for a few minutes. After this, follow the
direct cleaning method.
