– Only operate the machine if the voltage in-
dicated on the type plate agrees (+/- 5%)
with the voltage in the building
In any contact with current or voltage there is
the danger of sustaining an electrical shock
which can cause serious injuries such as
burns, or even death. Never touch any dama-
ged cables; have them replaced immediately.
– Damaged mains supply lines must only be
replaced by lines with a conductor cross-
section of 3x1.5 mm2 according to DIN
58281/VDE 0281
– Connections of mains supply lines must be
at least splash-proof to IP54
– Fuse protection: the machine must be pro-
tected by means of a power switch of type
H with at least a nominal current of 10A or
a fusible cutout of 10A
3.2 Safety regulations and accident
prevention notes
Due to the dangers inherent in its use, the ma-
chine must not be used for the following pur-
poses:
– as a tractor, means of transport or toy
– for taking up or removing dust which consti-
tutes a health hazard
– for taking up or removing flammable materials
– for vacuuming up flammable, toxic, corrosi-
ve and irritating materials or materials which
constitute a health hazard
– for cleaning floor areas near flammable or
explosive materials
– for cleaning textile floor coverings
Furthermore, the following must be observed
– during work, look out for, and keep away
from, other persons, especially children
– to help prevent injuries, wear sturdy work
shoes or boots
– before undertaking any cleaning or mainte-
nance on the machine, before changing or
dismantling work elements or parts, always
remove the key from the main key-operated
switch or the mains plug
– always use original Wetrok work elements
(brushes, drive plates etc)
– never exceed the prescribed limit of max. 2
% for gradients
– when leaving the machine, secure it against
unauthorised use by removing the key from
the key-operated switch
The drive activation levers on the operator
console must not be blocked under any cir-
cumstances.
Machine and moving parts
– There is a danger of injury as a result of the
machine's forward/reverse movement and
in the region of the rotating brushes
– Keep hands and feet away from the brush
or wheels
– Do not allow items of clothing or hair to get
near moving parts
Battery
– Never short the battery poles by touching
them or by placing conductive items on
them: danger of injury (burns).
3.3 Emergencies/emergency
response:
– Immediately apply first-aid measures or
seek help.
– Unplug the mains plug (E version) or remo-
ve the key from the main key-operated
switch (B version).
– Following any incident, do not operate the
machine before it has been checked by
Wetrok.
4. Application, operation and work
method
4.1 Before commissioning/initial ope-
ration
– As a rule, delivery including familiarisation
with safety instructions, handling and main-
tenance as well as initial operation are car-
ried out by a specialist authorised by We-
trok.
– If this is not the case, the operator of the
business is responsible for instructing
users.
– In the case of E models, before each use of
the machine, a visual inspection of the ca-
ble, the plug and the power outlet has to be
carried out. Any damage must be fixed by a
specialist.

4.2 Limiting values

Temperatures:
– Operating range of the machine:
5°C – 50°C
– Fresh water: max. 50°C
– unfilled: 1°C – 50°C
Max. inclination of inclination/slope:
– During transport and with a full tank:
max. 7%
N.B.:
A temperature monitoring system is fitted in
order to protect the movement electronics.
The movement drive is taken out of operation
for approx. 3 minutes if the limit value is ex-
ceeded. At the same time the LED indicator
does not light up.
Battery endurance in the BMA version
at approx. 20°C:
– Battery Ah 100 dry cells:
approx. 2.4 hours
– Battery Ah 70 dry cells:
approx. 1.3 hours
Battery endurance in the B and BM
versions at approx. 20°C:
– Battery Ah 100 dry cells:
approx. 3 hours
– Battery Ah 70 dry cells:
approx. 1.5 hours
4.3 Dosage rate, set-up and adjust-
ment
The selection of cleaning agents and work
elements depends on the type of floor and the
degree of soiling.
Maintenance cleaning:
Wetrok Redur or Resal. Dosage rate 1:100.
Pad drive disc and green or red Polypad, if ne-
cessary scrubbing brush.
Use only water and cleaning agents suitable
for use in machines.
Basic cleaning or heavy soiling
Wetrok Remat or Antiwax/Exal. Dosage rate
1:20. Smooth floors: pad drive disc with We-
trok Polypad (black or green).
Rough floors (e.g. natural stone): scrubbing
brush.
Never use any foaming or caustic cleaning
agents or flammable solvents.
Filling the freshwater tank for the first
time (all models):
– Open water dosage rate (B2, D3, H4) to
maximum open
– Hinge the tank lid (A1) up
– Do not spill any water over the suction fitting
(E7, F8)
– Solid-wall tank or membrane tank: when fil-
ling the tank, hold the water hose nozzle di-
rectly in front of the filter. In this way, the air
usually escapes from the freshwater system
– Add the desired cleaning agent at the pres-
cribed dosage rate
– Close the tank lid
If after the brush housing (C7) has been lowe-
red, no fresh water comes out, slightly undo
the installed tank filter (E3, F4) but do not un-
screw it completely. This allows air to escape
from the freshwater system. After this, screw
the filter back again.
Deinstalling/inserting work elements
(pad drive disc and brushes):
– Use only original Wetrok work elements
– Ensure that the machine has been switched
off and is secure
– Lift the brush housing by means of the
brush lowering pedal (C7)
– Remove the work elements by turning them
in the direction of brush rotation
(see information in the pictograms)
– Manually insert the work elements and turn
them counterclockwise to brush rotation to the
end stop (see information in the pictograms)
– If you are using pads (K4), first attach them
to the pad drive discs (K3)
– Lower the brush housing only if the main
key-operated switch (B1, H2) is in the ON
position, then activate the brush lowering
pedal (C7).
Setting the suction nozzle
Optimum suction results depend on the suc-
tion lips used, the application pressure and
the setting angle. Adjust the angle of inclina-
tion to the point where the best suction effect
is attained. The basic angle of the suction
nozzle is set at the Wetrok factory; this facto-
ry default setting is marked accordingly.
The optimum setting is attained by turning the
regulating screws (C1+C2). Regulating screw
