CONFIGURATION MENU
12.9.3 Floor sensor adjustment (overtemperature
protection function)
This is an additional temperature sensor that can be remote, placed in the ground
of underfloor heating panel equipment to supervise their temperature and switch
off the equipment if the read temperature exceeds a preset value.
Once the additional temperature sensor has been connected to the chronothermostat,
it will be possible to activate it following the path of the button Menu -> CONFIG
SEt -> SENSOR Set -> select the element FLOOR. Confirm with the button OK.
Using buttons 23, define the required temperature threshold (for example 35 °C).
Press the OK button to confirm. Press the back button to exit.
Floor sensor reading range: -0.0 °C ˜ +60.0 °C (+32.0 °F ˜ +140.0 °F)
If the value of 99.9 °F is exceeded (on the Fahrenheit scale) the decimal
points are deleted.
The chronothermostat displays and controls the room temperature detected by
the internal sensor; Set t tP, at the same time as the additional sensor also detects
the temperature of the floor, which will be compared to the threshold adjusted by
the installer to prevent said temperature from exceeding the safety threshold. If this
should occur, the chronothermostat will intervene by switching off the equipment
even if the adjusted temperature has not been reached; the display will indicate
this status by showing the initials tP and, flashing, the adjusted threshold value.
