12.14 Password entry and management

Certain functions of this chronothermostat can be protected by a User Password
(Us) and/or Installer Password (InSt), for modification only by the persons authorised
to do so. The factory setting has no active password.

12.14.1 Entering a new password

From the path of the button Menu -> CONFIG SEt -> PASSWORD SEt
-> press the «OK» button to open the display for creating a secret User
password (PASSWORD Us), confirm by pressing OK again, or using the
23 buttons, select the element PASSWORD SEt InSt and confirm with
OK to create the Installer password.
•
Using buttons 23, enter 4 figures (excluding hyphens) between 0000 and
9999, and confirm them individually with the «OK» button.
Press the back button to exit.
The «User» password allows the available functions to be accessed through the
Menu button. If there is also an installer password, it will not be possible to access
the CONFIG SEt menu.
The «Installer» password gives access to all the functions of the «Configurations»
menu (CONFIG SEt) and also to the User settings.
Therefore, when there is a password it will be possible to use certain
functions which can be quickly activated (see chapter
