12.10 Connection to an external contact for switching the
chronothermostat on/off remotely
ATTENTION: Before enabling any element of the «INPUT» menu mentioned
below, make sure that an external contact has been connected to terminals
1 and 2 (AUX2).
It is possible to connect the chronothermostat to a remote device (e.g. telephone
programmer, time switch, circuit breaker) which can activate/deactivate the
chronothermostat remotely. Following the path of the button Menu -> CONFIG SEt
->, select the element INPUT Set. Press the OK button to confirm.
Different working modes can be selected according to the type of potential-free
contact (NO or NC) and type of device connected to terminals 1 and 2 «AUX 2»
(see section 5.4 Electrical connections):

INPUT NO = «NO» input exclusion for external contact (factory setting);
•
TELEPHONE nC = for «Normally Closed» contact of a Telephone
Programmer;
•
TELEPHONE nO = for «Normally Open» contact of a Telephone
Programmer;
•
OBLIGATION nO = for «Normally Open» contact, e.g.: switch;
•
OBLIGATION nC = for «Normally Closed» contact, e.g.: switch;
NOTE: to exclude the previously enabled input, select the previous screen
with the 23 buttons and confirm with the OK button. Press back to exit.
