Problem
Syringe piston cannot
be locked after the
Encode syringe
has been inserted.
Undefined dispensing
volume
Air bubble beneath
the syringe piston
becomes larger.
A and/or CV exceed
tolerances.
The syringe piston
cannot be decoupled
after emptying com-
pletely.

Possible cause
Locking/filling lever
is not pushed down
completely and is not
swung out.
The stroke setting wheel
is not properly engaged.

The dispenser syringe is
difficult to move.
The dispensing lever
has not been pressed
completely and evenly.
The first dispensing step
was not discarded.
The syringe has been
incorrectly inserted.
Corrective action
First press the ejection
key and remove the
Syringe, then push the
locking/filling lever all
the way down and swing
it out completely.
Ensure that the stroke
setting wheel is securely
locked into place.
Replace syringe
Replace syringe

Press the dispensing
lever evenly to stop
position.
Discard the first dispens-
ing step.
Press the ejection key,
push down the locking/
filling lever completely,
and swing it out.
