5 Connecting the Power Supply

The AC power connections to the system are made inside the electrical box with the circuit
breakers. See Wiring Diagram for details on terminals.
WARNING: BE SURE POWER TO All WIRES IS TURNED OFF BEFORE PRO-
CEEDING WITh ThE INSTAllATION. hIGh VOlTAGE MAy BE PRESENT ON ThE
INPUT POWER WIRES.
WARNING: ThE DCC1000e SySTEM IS AVAIlABlE IN TWO VERSIONS, DESI-
GNED TO OPERATE FROM DIFFERENT POWER SOURCES – 100-140 VAC AND
200-240 VAC. VERIFy ThE RATING ON ThE SySTEM AND ONly CONNECT
ThE APPROPRIATE POWER SOURCE.
Main power must employ a properly labeled switch or circuit breaker as the disconnecting
device for the equipment and must be easily accessible for system isolation. The circuit breaker
shall have a maximum 20 Amp rating.
The power source cable should be at least SJT, 0.75 mm
105 °C. A plug should be at least NEMA 5-15P (for North America) or equivalent
as approved by local electrical authorities. The diameter range of the cable shall be
0.24"-0.47" (6-12 mm).
Do not power up the panel until all the process analytics have been installed.

6 Piping

Sample In:
The DCC1000e is equipped with a 1/4" input compression fitting. To install simply place
the nut and ferrule on the tube as shown and tighten.
NOTE: Poly tubing may require a support insert for proper sealing. (not included)
