The company C.A.M.P. spa, or the distributor, will not accept any responsibility for damage, injury or death resulting from
misuse of or from modifications to a CAMP Safety branded product. It is the user's responsibility at all times to ensure that
he/she understands the correct and safe use of any equipment supplied by or from C.A.M.P. spa, that he/she uses it only
for the purposes for which it is designed and that he/she practices all proper safety procedures. Before using the
equipment, take all necessary steps to familiarise yourself with rescue techniques should an emergency occur. You
personally assume all the risks and responsibilities for your actions and decisions: if you are not able or not in a position to
assume these, do not use this equipment.
3 YEAR WARRANTY
This product is warranted against any faults in materials or manufacture for 3 years from the purchase date. Limitations of
warranty include: normal wear and tear, modifications or alterations, incorrect storage, corrosion, damage due to
accidents or negligence, use for which this product is not specifically designed.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
SUMMARY
CAMP Druid and Druid Pro are:

descenders of the working line certified in accordance with standard EN 12841:2006 type C;
Ÿ
descenders used as rescue and personal protection equipment certified in accordance with standard EN 341:2011
Ÿ
type 2A;
belaying and rappelling devices for climbing and connected activities in compliance with standard EN 15151-
Ÿ
1:2012: braking devices with manually assisted locking. Druid: type 8, equipped with anti-panic locking device.
Druid Pro: type 6, not equipped with anti-panic locking device.
Compatibility
Rope
Druid and Druid Pro must be used solely and exclusively in combination with the following ropes (Fig.1):
EN 12841C use: semi-static ropes EN 1891/A with diameter from 10 to 11 mm;

EN 341/2A use: semi-static rope EN 1891/A with diameter from 11 mm type CAMP Safety Lithium 11 mm Art. 2240A;

EN 15151-1 use: dynamic single rope EN 892 with diameter from 9.9 to 11 mm;
