14.1 Controls

14.1.1 Positions of slide control
4 STOP-0 – engine off – the ignition is switched
off
5 F – normal run position – the engine is running
or can start
6 START – the ignition is switched on – the
engine can start
14.1.2 Symbol on slide control
7 h – stop symbol and arrow. To stop the
engine, push the slide control in the direction
of the arrow on the stop symbol (h) to
STOP-0.
14.2 Starting
► Press down the trigger interlock lever and
squeeze the throttle trigger.
► and hold them in that position.
► Move the slide control to START and hold it
there.

► Now release the throttle trigger, slide control
and trigger interlock in that order. This is the
starting throttle position.
► Choke knob
14.2.1 If the engine is cold
► Turn the choke knob (8) counterclockwise to
g.
14.2.2 If the engine is warm
► Turn the choke knob (8) clockwise, away from
g. Also use this position if the engine has
been running but is still cold.
