Radiator cap cover

2. Tilt up the radiator cap cover.
3. Turn the radiator cap one click and allow the pressure in the
radiator to release.
4. Unscrew the radiator cap when the radiator has depressur-
ised.
5. Slowly fill the radiator all the way to the top without air bubbles.
6. Screw the radiator cap on tight.
7. Refill the coolant expansion reservoir. See chapter Checking
the coolant level and topping up the coolant.
8. Reattach the panel.
Installing/removing the battery

Observe the safety regulations on the handling of batteries.

1. Fit the battery into the battery holder.
2. Screw the bracket on the battery base tight.
3. Connect the terminal clamp (red cable) to the plus terminal (+).
4. Connect the terminal clamp (black cable) to the minus terminal
(-).
5. Plug the cover caps onto the terminal clamps.
CAUTION
Always disconnect the minus terminal first when removing the
battery.
Check that the battery terminals and terminal clamps are protect-
ed with a sufficient quantity of terminal grease.

Risk of injury!
Charge the battery only with an appropriate charger.
Comply with safety regulations on the handling of batteries.
Observe the directions provided by the manufacturer of the
charger.
1. Disconnect pole terminal from the positive pole of the battery .
2. Connect charger to battery.
3. Plug in mains connector and switch on charger.
4. Charge battery using lowest possible level of charging current.
5. Only remove the charger from the mains and then disconnect
it from the battery when the battery is charged.
Cleaning and replacing air filters

1. Pull out the locking device.
2. Turn the air filter housing anticlockwise and remove it.
3. Remove the filter cartridge and safety cartridge.
4. Clean the interior of the air filter housing.
5. Knock the dust out of the filter cartridge on a hard surface.
Do not blow out the filter cartridge with compressed air.
6. Replace the safety cartridge with a new one.
Do not re-use a used safety cartridge.
7. Check that the filter cartridge and sealing surfaces are clean
and undamaged.
Replace a heavily soiled or damaged filter cartridge with a new
one.
8. Reinsert the cleaned filter cartridge.
Clean and replace the air filter (MC 130 advanced plus)

1. Remove the right-hand side motor cladding.
2. Unscrew the wing screw approx. 2 turns
3. Pivot the complete air filter unit outwards as far as it will go.
4. Screw the wing screw tight.
