3.6 REAR COVERING HARROW
REAR COVERING HARROW (STANDARD)
The working pressure of the spring teeth of the seed-covering
harrow may be varied by rotating the spring on the upper parallel
arm (Fig. 27).
When the arm pins on the four holes are shifted, the clearance
angle of the spring teeth varies (Fig. 27).
REAR COVERING HARROW (MULTI CONTROL)
The normal working position of the harrow is shown in Figure 28.
In this position, the wear on the teeth, between the long and the
short one is even and uniform. By adjusting the regulating handle
(A), it is possible to change the angle of the harrow.
The working pressure of the spring-loaded teeth can be varied by
rotating the spring (B) located on the upper parallel arm (Fig. 29).
