Basic principles
This document is intended for the person in charge and his employees who are responsible for the trans-
portation and installation of the clamping system.
X Handle the clamping system with care. Amongst other things, this means using transport that will not

shake the clamping system. This will avoid damage in transit.
X Use a transport equipment that is sufficiently well dimensioned.

Store the transport fittings in a clean and dry location, so they can be used again
for subsequent transport.
Before they are used again, check for compliance with the instructions regarding
round slings.
HAZARD due to suspended loads
X Transportation may be performed only by persons who have been instructed in the
safety aspects of the relevant lifting gear and who have experience of transportation
work.
X No-one may stand under the load whilst the clamping system is being lifted, trans-
ported or put down.
X Do not reach under the load whilst it is being lifted or put down.
X Use only suitable lifting gear with sufficient safe working load.
X Refer to the weight information in the instruction manual.
X Comply with the applicable accident prevention instructions relating to transportation.
CAUTION take care not to drop the clamping system or allow it to tip
over on the transport equipment�
