Hazards when working with the clamping system
The clamping system has been built according to current technology and complies with the recognised
safety regulations. Nevertheless during its use risks to the life and limb of the user or third parties may
arise, or there may be damage to the clamping system or to other property. The clamping system may
be used
„ only for the intended purpose, see Chapter 1.6.
„ and provided it is in good condition and safe to use.
Faults which may affect safety must be rectified
without delay�

Warranty and Liability
Our "General Conditions of Sale and Delivery" are applicable in all respects.
These are available to the operating company no later than signature of the contract.
Claims for warranty and liability for personal injuries and damage to property are excluded if they can be
shown to have arisen due to one or more of the following causes:
„ Use for other than the intended purpose
„ Use of spare parts, accessories, attachments or special equipment not tested and approved by the
manufacturer.
„ Incorrect mounting, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the clamping system.
„ Operating the clamping system with safety devices that are defective or not correctly fitted, or when
safety devices and guards on the machine are not operational.
„ Disregarding the instructions specified in the instruction manual regarding transport, storage, assem-
bly, commissioning, operation, maintenance and setting up.
„ Making unauthorised design modifications to the clamping system.
„ Failure to monitor components that are liable to wear.
„ Incorrect performance of repairs.
„ Catastrophic events due to the effects of foreign bodies and force majeure.

Cleaning and Disposal
Correctly handle the substances and materials that are used, and dispose of them responsibly, especially
„ when handling lubricants
„ when cleaning with solvents.
