Precondition
The work table is clean
The components of the clamping system are clean.
Tools / materials required
Hexagon L-wrench size 5.
Torque wrench (100 Nm).
Hexagon socket size 10.

Procedure
➊
Position and secure the base rail (8) on the work table of the machine.

Slide the fixed jaw (6) on to the base rail (8) and clamp it in the desired position, using the two
fixing screws (5).

Release the two spindle locking pins (7) on the fixed jaw (6).

Insert the spindle anchor (4) into the socket provided in the fixed jaw (6) and engage the two spindle
locking pins (7) on the fixed jaw (6). These must now no longer project.

Optionally a spindle extension (3) can now be inserted. To do this, open the knurled nut as far as the
stop, insert the claws of the spindle extension (3) into the claws of the spindle anchor (3) and close the
ES
knurled nuts finger tight.

Fit the spindle drive (2). To do this, open the knurled nut as far as the stop, insert the claws of the
spindle drive (2) into the claws of the spindle anchor (4) or the spindle extension (3) and close the
knurled nuts finger tight.

CAUTION! Never allow the fixed and moveable jaws to project beyond the ends of the
