FIG 22

Dust filters

FIG 23
The dust filters 1 (fig.23) remove the dust from the air sucked through the sweeper. The filters must
be kept permanently efficient.

Cleaning the dust filters

Operate switch 20 (fig.1) for 10" to activate the electric shaker 2 (fig.23). Repeat this procedure 4-5
times in succession. In very dusty environments, repeat the cleaning operation frequently.
!
Warning!: If there is water on the floor, switch off the vacuum system by the switch 20
(fig.1).
For a thorough cleaning of the filters, disassemble them: remove the filters and clean the filters
using an air jet which must not be too strong, directing it from outside towards inside.
!
Warning!: Never use metal or wooden tools to clean the inside of the filters.
Reassemble the filters making sure to place them in the right place and the rings
are mounted correctly.

The dust flaps prevent the dust raised by the main
brush from blowing out from under the sweeper.
They must therefore be kept in peak condition and
replaced if they become worn or damaged.

Replacing the flaps

1) Remove the 1 /2 front /rear flap fixing bolts
(fig.22)
2) to remove the left side flap 3 and right flap 4,
(fig.22), simply open the inspection covers.
3) Fit a new flap and secure it in position with the
same bolts. The side and rear flaps should ride
at about 3 - 4 mm above floor level.
