Cleaning the motor radiator
FIG 7b
When the motor sweeper is operating in a very dusty area, the motor ra-
diator should be checked regularly to make sure that it is not obstructed.
!
CAUTION: Clean the fins of the radiator body with a brush and
diesel fuel at least once a week.
Check that light 26 (fig.1) has not gone on indicating that the tempera-
ture of the cooling liquid is not too high. Stop immmediately if this is the
case and check the radiator fins in the following way:
1) Remove the LH side cover of the motor.
2) If the fins are obstructed, blow compressed air from the back of the
radiator (see fig.7b) to remove the dust.
3) If the dust is not removed by this operation, clean the fins with a
curved brush and oil from the front of the radiator. Dry with a jet of air.
If the radiator is not the reason for light 26 going on check the following:
– the level of the cooling liquid.
– possible malfunctions of the fuel solenoid valve, fuel solenoid relay and
water temperature sensor.
