If the "Enable Standby
mode" button is
activated, the Standby
mode can be marked.
If the "Enable Standby
mode" button is
activated, there are 2
options for marking the
Standby mode:
1 Manual activation by pressing the
Settings > General.
2 Automatic activation by means of a time schedule. The
"Time schedule" button in the menu Settings > Standby
must be activated for this.
The "Workdays"
and "Weekend"
menu items can be
selected next. The
working time for
each day of the
week must be
selected. The
Standby time results
from the entered values. In this example, the Standby time
is from 03:00 PM until 07:00 AM on the next working day.
An marked Standby mode can be recognised by the fact that
the half-moon in the Settings > General menu has a blue
background
and the moon
The Standby mode can be marked again manually at any time.
If the Air Guard with a preset time schedule is activated from
the Standby mode again by an increase in pressure, no
renewed earmarking of the Standby mode will take place within
the current time period. If the pressure then drops again, the
Air Guard goes into Alarm mode and the red signal lamp on the
Air Guard lights up and the audible alarm is turned on. A new
earmarking only takes place after the next work period has
ended.
When the Air Guard is
switched into Standby
mode and the
"Automatic screen
change" button is
activated, the screen
view changes
automatically to the
overall view and the half
moon fills the screen.
button in the menu
appears in the top bar.

Purging
CAUTION
Risk of injury if hearing protection is not worn
The gas is released at a very high speed during purging and is
extremely loud.
► Hearing protection must be worn during purging.
If there is a contamination above the limit value, the source of
that contamination must be removed. Before operation is
continued, the lines from the compressor to the various taps
and the Air Guard must be purged as well. The lines from the
compressor to the Air Guard can be purged via the Air Guard.
All other lines from the compressor must be purged manually.
Pressing the F2
key below the
touchscreen opens the
purge menu. The
Admin must log in to
enable the menu.
Afterwards, tapping the
button starts the
purging. The Air Guard
keeps measuring continuously during purging.
If, for a time period of 30 seconds, all values have once again
been below the alarm threshold, the purge operation is exited.
The user is automatically logged out after 5 minutes of
inactivity. If the values do not fall below the alarm threshold, the
system cancels the purge operation after 6 minutes. A further
purge cycle is possible after that. If the Air Guard still registers
contaminated air, further checks need to be carried out until the
source of the contamination is eliminated.
Also, purging will be stopped if there is a new alarm, for
example, given by another sensor. Example: Before purging,
the CO sensor signals that the value is too high. Purging is
initiated and, in the meantime, the CO
rises above the alarm value. The purging procedure is
interrupted so that the cause of the newly occurring error can
be eliminated and the pipeline system is not unnecessarily
contaminated.
4.4.9
Connect the Air Guard to the network
In order to be able to use the web server, email alarms and
remote control network functions as well as the connection to
Drägerware, the system must be integrated into the network.
The following describes how the Air Guard is logged into the
network:
1. Provision of a static IP address including a gateway for the
Air Guard. (If the MAC address of the Air Guard system is
required, continue with point 3.)
2. Enter this IP address in the Air Guard (see chapter 4.4.10).
3. Configuration of the integrated router:
a. The IP address of the PC to be used for configuration
must be in the same number range as that of the router.
The standard IP address of the router is:
192.168.10.100.
b. Change the TCP/IPv4 address to 192.168.10.101 in
the settings of the PC's LAN adapter.
