Recording Mode Menus

The menu items are used to change the video gain,
picture size, etc. of the recorded pictures. The following
items can be set in the MAIN MENU display.
SENSITIVITY MODE
Sets the video gain when recording the picture.
When AE-AUTO is selected with the AE MODE button
on the camera control unit, you can select from ISO100,
ISO200 and ISO400. Normally, set to ISO100. If there
is not enough light, select ISO200 or ISO400.
When MANUAL is selected with the AE MODE button,
you cannot select any item. The gain value selected with
the CAM GAIN control on the camera control unit is
displayed. When FL MODE is selected with the FL
MODE button, FL MODE is displayed.
PICTURE SIZE
Selects the picture size to be recorded. You can select
from 640 × 480, 1280 × 960 and 2560 × 1920.
FILE FORMAT MODE
Sets the data compression format for recording the
picture. You can select JPEG or TIFF.
JPEG QUALITY
When FILE FORMAT MODE is set to JPEG, sets the
data compression ratio. You can select from among
LOW, MIDDLE and HIGH.
AE DETECT MODE
Sets the size of the AE window. You can select from
among SPOT, MID and LARGE. The LCD monitor
displays the selected AE window. If the subject you are
shooting is very small or the subject is surrounded by a
lot of light, select SPOT.
The AE window functions as that for detecting white
balance and for the focus indicator.

USER FILE SET UP
Menu
You can save the settings made by the menus and
adjusted with the controls on the camera control unit as
a user file. Up to 3 files can be saved. You can also shoot
with the same settings as those of the user file by loading
that file.
DATA LOAD
When you select this item and press the ENTER button,
the following items are displayed.
No. 0 (RESET): The content of this item is the factory
settings. To reset the current settings to the factory
set values, select this item.
No. 1 (yy.mm.dd), No. 2 (yy.mm.dd) and No. 3
(yy.mm.dd): User file numbers 1, 2 and 3 saved with
DATA SAVE. The year, month and day when the
data was saved are indicated in parentheses.
Select the number you want with the V or v button,
then press the ENTER button. All the settings are
changed to those of the selected user file.
DATA SAVE
When you select this item and press the ENTER button,
the following items are displayed.
No. 1 (yy.mm.dd), No. 2 (yy.mm.dd) and No. 3
(yy.mm.dd): User file numbers 1, 2 and 3. The year,
month and day when the data is to be saved are indicated
in parentheses.
Press the V or v button to select the file number to be
saved, then press the ENTER button.
The settings are saved as a user file with the selected file
number.
