INTERVAL REC TIME (Interval
Recording Timer)
When you select this item and press the ENTER button,
the INTERVAL REC TIME menu appears.
After pressing the REC button on the camera control
unit, pictures are continuously captured and the still
pictures captured are recorded at regular intervals.
During an interval recording, the count-down time
indicator is displayed on the LCD monitor.
MODE
Sets whether to run an interval recording or not.
ON: To run an interval recording.
OFF: Not to run an interval recording.
To stop the interval recording
While the count-down time indicator is displayed, press
the ?/1 switch.
Notes
• While the interval recording is running, no buttons and
controls on the camera control unit function.
• Interval recording mode is valid even when the power
of the camera is turned off. To make any other
operation, set MODE to OFF.
HHhMMmSSs
This item is displayed only when MODE is set to ON.
Sets or changes the recording interval.
When you select the item and press the ENTER button,
the HHhMMmSSs menu is displayed.

Move the cursor to the desired location with the B
or b button.

Change the time with the V or v button.
The available time is between 00h00m10s and
24h00m00s (h: hour, m: minute, s: second).

Press the ENTER button.
The interval recording time has been set, and the
INTERVAL REC TIME menu is restored.
When you press the REC button, interval recording
starts.
Note
As recording speed varies with the picture size or picture
format, interval recording may not be done correctly at
the specified interval.

PLAY SET UP Menu

PLAY SET UP Menu
The PLAY SET UP menu is used to set playback options
and is displayed only in playback mode.

PROTECT MODE

When you select this item and press the ENTER button,
the PROTECT MODE menu is displayed.
Saves the pictures recorded on a card from being
accidentally erased. This is called "protecting" the
picture. You can protect the picture being played or all
the pictures recorded on a card.
1 SHOT ON: Protects a picture being played.
1 SHOT OFF: Removes protect from the picture being
played.
ALL ON: Protects all the pictures recorded on the card
inserted.
ALL OFF: Removes protect from all the pictures
recorded on the card inserted.
Note
When protect is set to ON, the
displayed on the LCD monitor (when the PLAY mode
information is displayed by pressing DISP/INFO
button).

DELETE MODE

When you select this item and press the ENTER button,
the DELETE MODE menu is displayed.
You can delete a picture during playback or all pictures
stored on a card. If the picture has been protected, you
cannot delete it.
1 SHOT DELETE: Deletes the picture during
playback.
ALL DELETE: Deletes all pictures stored on the card
inserted.
Select the delete mode with the V or v button, then press
the ENTER button. The message "DELETE OK?"
appears on the monitor screen. Press the ENTER button
to delete, or press the EXIT button to cancel.
