Connection Between the Camera
Head and Camera Control Unit
Using the supplied camera cable, connect the camera
cable connector on the camera head with the CAMERA
connector on the camera control unit.
To connect the camera cable to the
camera head

Hold the side of the cable connector with characters
up.

Insert the cable connector into the camera cable
connector on the camera head until it clicks.
Note
After connecting, hold the cable connector and pull
it lightly to check that the camera cable connector
is locked.

Insert the cable connector into the CAMERA
connector on the camera control unit until it clicks.
Note
After connecting, hold the cable connector and pull
it lightly to check that the camera cable connector
is locked.
When you remove the camera cable connector
Slowly pull out the cable connector of the camera cable
to remove while pushing the lock release buttons on both
sides of the connector.

As both connectors on the camera cable are the same
type, either may be inserted into either connector.
Precautions on connection or
disconnection
• Turn off the power supply for all equipment before
making any connection.
• Be sure to turn off the camera when you connect or
disconnect the camera cable. Connecting/
disconnecting a cable while the power is on may result
in damage to the camera.
• Be sure to connect the camera head and camera
control unit with the camera cable before you turn on/
off the power of the camera.
• Insert the cable connector firmly. Loose connection
causes incorrect operation.
