Using a PC Card Reader

When you connect a PC card reader on your computer
and install the driver, the card is recognized as a drive. In
this way, you can manage pictures saved on the card as
computer files.
For further information on the PC card reader or driver,
refer to the user's manual of the PC card reader.
For details on management of the pictures on your
computer, refer to the manual or Help of the application.
Transferring a Picture to the
Computer
The camera is equipped with an IEEE1394 digital
interface connector that allows you to transfer pictures
to the computer.
Pictures that can be transferred to the
computer
• Camera live pictures
• Still pictures captured into the camera control unit
• Pictures recorded on a card
For the connections, installation method of the supplied
software and operations of the software, refer to the
supplied User's Guide for TWAIN Driver Software.
Notes
• The camera is not compatible with video equipment
equipped with a DV i connector.
• The IEEE1394 connector on this camera functions
only as an output connector. You cannot transfer and
record the image data to the card inserted in the
camera from the computer.
