LCD SET
Adjusts the picture display on the LCD monitor of the
camera control unit.
When you select this item and press the ENTER button,
the LCD SET menu appears, and the following items
can be set.
CONTRAST
Sets the picture contrast.
You can adjust it in the range of –10 to +10 (in ± 1 units)
using the B or b button. Setting in the negative direction
decreases the contrast, and setting in the positive
direction increases it.
BRIGHT
Sets the brightness.
You can adjust it in the range of –10 to +10 (in ± 1 units)
using the B or b button. Setting in the negative direction
decreases the luminance level for a darker picture, and
setting in the positive direction increases it for a brighter
picture.
COLOR
Sets the color intensity.
You can adjust it in the range of –10 to +10 (in ± 1 units)
using the B or b. Setting in the negative direction
decreases the color intensity, and setting in the positive
direction increases it.
BACKLIGHT
Sets the brightness of the backlight on the LCD monitor.
You can adjust it in the range of –10 to +10 (in ± 1 units)
using the B or b button. Setting in the negative direction
darkens the backlight, and setting in the positive
direction brightens it.

CAMERA SET UP Menu

CAMERA SET UP Menu
The CAMERA SET UP menu is used to set the various
conditions in camera LIVE mode.
The settings using this menu have no effect on playback
pictures.
B&W (Black-and-White mode)
Displays the live picture in black and white.
ON: The live picture is displayed in monochrome.
When capturing, the image will be captured in black-
and-white mode.
OFF: Normal live picture is displayed on the LCD
monitor.
Note
When this item is set to ON, the color bar signal is also
displayed in black and white.
ROTATE
You can rotate the camera picture by 180°.
0° [X]: Displays normal live image
180° [x]: Displays the live image upside down. When
capturing, the rotated image will be captured.
Note
When this item is set to "180°," the color bar signal is
also rotated.
SHARPNESS LEVEL (Contour
emphasizing level)
Emphasizes the contour of an image.
You can adjust it in the range of –99 to +99 (in ±1 units)
using the B or b button. Setting in the negative direction
softens the contour and setting in the positive direction
sharpens it.
AUTO-WHITE-PAINT
You can determine whether to change the exposure
focusing point in the auto white balance mode to the
value you set with the GAIN RED/BLUE controls on the
camera control unit.
ON: Changes the auto exposure focusing point
according to the GAIN RED/BLUE control settings.
OFF: Makes the GAIN RED/BLUE control settings
invalid.
