Add water when the water level
reaches below the minimum
level.
Check the Pressure
The pressure gauge (5) indicates
whether the pressure is optimal for
making coffee. Verify the pointer is
in the OPTIMAL PRESSURE region
before performing any task.
Preheat the Machine
Press the power switch (12) to

turn on the machine.

The machine will automatically
perform a self-inspection.
When complete, the indicator
lights around the single cup
(2), double cup (3) and steam
(4) buttons will light up.

Press either the single cup (2)
or double cup (3) button to
start preheating.
4.
The single cup (2) or double
cup (3) button indicator lights
will flash, indicating that
preheating is in progress.
When complete, the lights will
remain lit, and the buzzer will
beep twice.
5.
When preheating is complete,
the machine is ready to make
coffee.

WARNING: After self-inspection, if
the indicator lights around the three
buttons flash simultaneously along
with the buzzer sounding, it means
that the machine is non-
operational, and the buttons will not
work. 30 seconds after the alarm,
the machine will go into standby
mode and all indicator lights will go
off. See the
section for further steps.

NOTE: If the hot water/steam
knob (8) is in the ON position when
the machine is turned on, the
machine will generate an alarm and
both the single cup button (2) and
the double cup button (3) indicator
lights will flash. To stop the alarm,
turn the hot water/steam knob (8)
to OFF.

Troubleshooting
Place a container with a
minimum capacity of 3-5
ounces beneath the milk
frother (11).
Rotate the hot water/steam
knob (8) to the ON position
(line the knob up with the
steam/water droplets symbol),
discharge 3-5 ounces of hot
water, and then rotate the knob
to OFF.
