Upon receipt of your generating set, check that the equipment is complete and in good condition. The equipment should be handled carefully.
It should be placed in a suitable site either for storage or operation.

The generating set must be earthed every time it is used to reduce the chance of electric shock.
To do this, fasten a length of 10mm² copper wire between the earth clamp on the generator set and a galvanised steel earth spike. Drive the earth spike into
the ground to a depth of 1 metre. (This equipment is not supplied with the generator set).
This earth connection also dissipates static electricity generated by the electrical equipment.
