CONVENIENT CD FUNCTIONS
Press a DISC select button (1 — 3) or the DISC CHANGE button.
The track currently playing stops, and play of the first track on
the selected disc starts.
Random play
e Operate by remote control.
# Ali tracks on a loaded disc are played once in random order. If
there are three discs loaded, repeat play continues until all
tracks on each of the discs are played once.
Press the RANDOM button when a disc is playing, or when in the
Stop mode.
The disc number
and current track number
are displayed.
During selection, track numbers switch rapidly.
Example
: When there are three discs loaded, and disc number
is currently playing.
Press the RANDOM button.
Disc changes to another disc not currently playing (in this case
discs @ or ©}, and random play continues. When all tracks have ©
been played, random
play continues on the third disc until all
the tracks on it have been played. Random
play then stops.
To cancel random play:
Press the STOP button.
NOTES:
e During random play, if you press a disc button (1 - 3) or the
DISC CHANGE button, random play is canceled, and play
starts from the first track on the selected disc. If you eject the
disc tray, random play is canceled, and normal play resumes.
e /f you press the RANDOM button again, another track is selected.
Changing displays
When the selected function is CD, press the DISPLAY/CLOCK
ADJ button.
Display indications change as follows:

) Total play time
After TOTAL, indications are displayed in order for a few sec-
onds each.
Press the DISPLAY/CLOCK ADJ button during power standby,
and the display becomes brighter. This makes it easier to see the
clock display.
