Set the machine as illustrated.
Turn the stitch width dial and stitch length dial
to suit the fabric.
Feather stitch (1)
Pattern selector on "F".
For decorative joining seam for a fagoted effect.
Rampart (2)
Pattern selector on "l".
For fiat joining seams, sewing on elastic, visible
hems.
This stitch can be used for firm, thicker fabrics.
Shell hem (3)
Pattern selector on "P".
For decorative edges.
Suitable for edges on sheer, fine and stretch
fabrics. The larger stitch should go just over the
edge of the fabric to create the shell effect.
