DANGER
Electrocution hazard!
Improper conduct when carrying out electrical work causes death due to electric shock!
Electrical work must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with the local
regulations.
DANGER
Risk of fatal injury due to dangerous lone working practices!
Working in pump chambers and tight spaces as well as working where there is a danger
of falling is dangerous work. This work must not be carried out alone! A second person
must be present for safety reasons.
WARNING
Danger of burning due to hot surfaces!
The motor housing can get hot during operation. It can lead to burns. Allow the pump to
cool down to ambient temperature after switching off!
NOTICE
Use only technically faultless lifting equipment!
Use only technically faultless lifting equipment to lift and lower the pump. Make sure
that the pump does not jam during lifting and lowering. Do not exceed the maximum
bearing capacity of the lifting equipment! Check that lifting equipment is functioning
properly before use!
Pump decommissioned.
Gate valve on inlet and pressure side closed.
1. Disconnect pump from power supply.
2. Attach lifting equipment to attachment point. CAUTION! Never pull on the power
supply cable!Doing so will damage the power supply cable!
3. Slowly raise the pump and lift it over the guide pipes out of the operating space. CAU-
TION! The power supply cable can be damaged when lifting! During lifting, hold the
power supply cables slightly taut!
4. Thoroughly clean the pump (see point "Cleaning and disinfecting"). DANGER! When
using the pump in fluids which are dangerous to health, disinfect the pump!
Pump decommissioned.
1. Disconnect pump from power supply.
2. Roll up the power supply cable and lay over the motor housing. CAUTION! Never pull
on the power supply cable!Doing so will damage the power supply cable!
3. Loosen the pressure pipe from the discharge port.
4. Attach lifting equipment to attachment points.
5. Lift pump out of the operating space. CAUTION! The power supply cable can be
crushed and damaged when setting down! When setting down the pump, be mindful
of the power supply cables!
6. Thoroughly clean the pump (see point "Cleaning and disinfecting"). DANGER! When
using the pump in fluids which are dangerous to health, disinfect the pump!
