6.5.2 Managing RFID cards
The following options are available for managing
RFID cards:
n Manual setup of the product (described below).
n Using the configuration tool ("6.5.1 Description
of the configuration tool" [} 32]).
The following requirement is necessary to manage
RFID cards:
ü There is no active charging process.
Adding or removing user RFID card(s) to/from the
whitelist
The master RFID card can be used to add new user
RFID cards to the internal whitelist or to remove
them from it.
u Hold the master RFID card in front of the RFID
card reader to activate Teach mode for 1
minute.
ð The lower LED of the LED status display flashes
rapidly in blue.
u Hold the RFID card to be added or removed in
front of the RFID card reader.
ð If the RFID card is not already in the whitelist, it
is added to the whitelist as a user RFID card.
The lower LED of the LED status display lights
up green for 1 second. An ascending tone se-
quence is also output.
ð If the RFID card is already in the whitelist, it is
removed from the whitelist. The upper LED of
the LED status display lights up red for 1
second. A descending tone sequence is also
output.
ð If there are already 10 RFID cards in the whitel-
ist, the whitelist is full. No further RFID card can
be taught in. The upper LED of the LED status
display lights up red for 3 seconds. A sound is
also output for 2 seconds.
If no input is made within 1 minute, the
teach-in mode is terminated. The product
returns to the "Standby" operating state.

Programming a master RFID card
The DIP switches 1, 2 and 3 on bank S2 are
mainly needed to set the maximum char-
ging current.
Exception: If all three DIP switches are set
to "ON", a new master RFID card can be
taught in. The upper LED of the LED status
display lights up red.
u Disconnect the product from voltage.
u Set DIP switches 1, 2 and 3 on bank S2 to "ON".
u Switch on the product.
u Hold the new RFID card in front of the card
reader.
ð The new RFID card was taught in as the master
RFID card.
ð The lower LED of the LED status display lights
up green for 1 second. An ascending tone se-
quence is also output.
u Disconnect the product from voltage.
u Set the desired maximum charging current via
DIP switches 1, 2 and 3 on bank S2.
u Switch on the product.
The master RFID card cannot be used to
authorise charging processes.
Remove all taught-in user RFID cards from the
whitelist
u Hold the master RFID card in front of the RFID
card reader for 10 seconds.
ð All taught-in user RFID cards are removed from
the whitelist. The upper ring of the LED status
display lights up red for 1 second. A descending
tone sequence is also output.
ð The master RFID card will not be deleted.
