Authorisation
u Authorise (dependent on the configuration).
The following authorisation options are available:
No authorisation (Autostart)
All users can charge.
Authorisation through RFID
Users whose RFID card has been entered in the
whitelist can charge.
u Hold the RFID card in front of the RFID card
reader.
If the vehicle is not connected to the
product within 5 minutes, the authorisation
is reset and the product switches to
Standby mode. The authorisation process
must be repeated.
7.2
Charging the vehicle
WARNING
Risk of injury from using unsuitable aids
If unsuitable aids (e.g. adapter plugs, extension
cables) are used during the charging process, there
is a risk of electric shock or cable fire.
u Use only the charging cable intended for the
vehicle and the product.
Requirement(s):
ü The authorisation process is complete (if neces-
sary).
ü The vehicle and the charging cable are suitable
for Mode 3 charging.
u Connect the charging cable to the vehicle.
Selecting the charging mode

The appropriate charging mode can be selected
using the buttons.

n If the product is not configured for the
"Solar charging" and "Solar-assisted
charging" charging modes, the buttons
have no function.
For the 22 kW variants and the 11 kW vari-
ants with activated dynamic phase
changeover, the following applies:
n It is possible to switch between the "Fast
charging", "Solar charging" and "Solar-
assisted charging" modes at any time
(even during active charging).
For the 11 kW variants with deactivated dy-
namic phase changeover, the following ap-
plies:
n It is possible to switch between the "Fast
charging", "Solar charging" and "Solar-
assisted charging" modes at any time
(even during active charging).
n It is not possible to switch between the
"Fast charging" and "Solar charging" or
"Solar-assisted charging" charging
modes during an active charge. The
vehicle must be disconnected from the
charging station before switchover.
Charging process does not start
If the charging process does not start, the commu-
nication between the charging point and the
vehicle may be faulty, for example.
