For installation and use, a minimum clearance of 5 cm around the hole must be maintained.
Make sure that the thickness of the work surface is at least 30 mm. Select a heat-resistant and insu-
lating work surface material (wood and other similar fibrous or hygroscopic materials should not be
used as work surface material unless impregnated) to avoid electric shocks and major deformations
caused by heat radiation from the hob. As shown below:
