1 Introduction
Dear customer,
With your new VarioSmoker, your
products will be given a natural smoky fla-
vour, which you can regulate exactly how
you like - without needing a smoking cab-
inet.
Read the operating instructions carefully
prior to first-time use. The operating in-
structions are there to ensure that you use
the appliance safely. Keep these operating
instructions in a place that is accessible at
all times to anyone who will be using the
unit.
1.1 Inspiration.
Download the manual for the smoking
special application from www.rational-on-
line.com. This document contains many
application examples and shows you how
you can best prepare food with the Vari-
oSmoker.

This document is intended for staff work-
ing in large and commercial kitchens. Make

This VarioSmoker was developed for
smoking food in RATIONAL combi-steam-
ers.
This unit may only be used commercially,
such as in restaurant kitchens and large
and commercial kitchens in hospitals,
bakeries or butcheries.
All other uses are contrary to the intended
purpose, and may be dangerous. RA-
TIONAL AG assumes no liability for the
consequences of using the unit contrary to
the intended use.
