9 - Instructions for rotating the electric board and the fan speed
regulator
Caution: the following operations must be carried out
by skilled staff only.
Caution: voltage hazard. BEFORE OPERATING
MAKE SURE THE ELECTRIC BOARD IS CUT OFF.
•
In the Dry Cooler units, the electric board Q and the fan speed
regulator R are screwed to the supporting panel.
•
To install the Dry Coolers in vertical air flow or horizontal air
flow, to ensure the correct operation of the electric accesso-
ries, they must be positioned as indicated in the dimension
drawings (see diagrams at the end of the document).
•
The electric board and the fan speed regulator (optional) are
factory-assembled for the Dry Cooler operating with vertical
air flow. The 90°-rotation is thus necessary only when the Dry
Cooler must be used with horizontal air flow. The rain protect-
ing cover must be rotated consequently.
•
To rotate the electric board Q and the adjuster R no wiring and
re-wiring of the electric cables is necessary.
•
The connector block C, if installed, MUST NOT BE ROTATED.
•
The adjuster R of the single-phase models does not need to
be rotated.
Necessary operations:
1.
Make sure the electric board is cut off.
2.
Do not work under the rain or water splashes.
3.
If possible, remove the sheet protecting cover fastened by
screws before rotating the board and the adjuster.
English
4.
Loosen the screws of the steel brackets supporting the electric
board Q. Do not open the electric board at all during the
rotating operations.
5.
Rotate the electric board and fasten it with the screws previ-
ously removed in the correct position, as indicated in the di-
mension drawings (see also Fig. a).
6.
Loosen the supporting screws of the adjuster R. According to
the adjuster size, the fastening screws can be on steel brack-
ets directly applied on the adjuster, otherwise the adjuster is
fastened by screws inside an additional sheet panel. In the
latter case just loosen the screws of the additional panel. Do
not open the adjuster at all during the rotating operations.
7.
Rotate the adjuster and fasten it with the screws previously
removed in the correct position, as indicated in Fig. a.
8.
Fasten the rain protecting sheet cover in the correct po-
sition.
