Operation
5.17.3 Start optimisation or weight
minimisation
Use key 6 (Fig. 4-10) or key 5 (Fig. 4-7) to access the
optimisation or minimisation entry screen.
Procedure:
Clamp the wheel or bare rim.
Enter correct rim dimensions, or check existing
inputs for correctness.
Close the wheel guard (if necessary press the
START key).
The OPTIMISATION MENU screen "1" is displayed
(Fig. 5-65).
If an optimisation/minimisation result has already been
saved, press key 7 (Fig. 5-66); in this way, the program
continues from the step where it was interrupted, with
the relative measurement values and settings, and the
optimisation/minimisation may continue.
At this point, you can choose whether to continue with
Optimisation (Key 8), or go to Minimisation (Key 4).
5.17.3.1 OPTIMISATION

Move the gauge arm into position on the rim, based
on the desired ALU.
Perform a measuring run.
In the BALANCING Menu press key 3 (Fig. 5-33).
The "1" screen page appears (Fig. 5-66).
Press the menu key 8 (Fig. 5-66).
