Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Der LSX-30 ist ein Laserscanner mit einer leis-
tungsstarken grünen Laserdiode. Der Laser proji-
ziert musikgesteuert über das integrierte Mikrofon
oder durch eine externe Steuerung verschiedene
Figuren an Wände, Decken und Fußböden. Die
Figuren können sowohl statisch als auch dynamisch
mit Drehbewegungen und Zoomfunktionen darge-
stellt werden. Über ein Menü sind verschiedene
Betriebsparameter einstellbar.
Der LSX-30 lässt sich über das integrierte Mikro-
fon, die Mini-Fernbedienung LC-3 oder ein DMX-
Steuergerät (z. B. DMX-60, DMX-120, DMX-1440
von „img Stage Line") steuern. Die synchrone
Steuerung mehrerer LSX-30 über ein internes
Mikrofon oder über eine Fernbedienung kann im
Master/Slave-Modus erfolgen.

Montage
Das Gerät muss fachgerecht und sicher montiert
werden. Beachten Sie unbedingt die Warnhin-
weise im Kapitel 2.1.
WARNUNG 1. Zur Vermeidung von Wärmestaus
im Gerät muss die Montagestelle
so gewählt werden, dass während
des Betriebs eine ausreichende
Luftzirkulation gewährleistet ist.
Das Gerät muss einen Mindest-
abstand von 15 cm zu angrenzenden Flächen
haben und die Lüftungsöffnungen am Gehäuse
dürfen auf keinen Fall abgedeckt werden.

The wires in this mains lead are coloured in ac-
cordance with the following code:
green/yellow = earth
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug,
proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured green and yellow
must be connected to the terminal in the plug
which is marked with the letter E or by the earth
symbol
, or coloured green or green and
yellow.
2. The wire which is coloured blue must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
3. The wire which is coloured brown must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
Warning – This appliance must be earthed.

Applications
The LSX-30 is a laser scanner with a powerful green
laser diode. The laser projects different figures on
walls, ceilings, and floors by music control via the
integrated microphone or by an external control. The
figures can be represented both statically and
dynamically with rotating movements and zoom
functions. Via a menu different operating para-
meters can be adjusted.
The LSX-30 can be controlled via the integrated
microphone, the miniature remote control LC-3, or a
DMX
control
unit
(e. g.
DMX-60,
DMX-1440 from "img Stage Line"). Several LSX-30
units can synchronously be controlled in the
master/slave mode via an internal microphone or
via a remote control.
2. Wird das Gerät als schwebende Last über Perso-
nen installiert, muss es zusätzlich gesichert wer-
den (z. B. durch ein Fangseil am Montagebügel).
Das Fangseil so befestigen, dass der Fallweg
des Gerätes nicht mehr als 20 cm betragen kann.
1) Den LSX-30 mit dem Montagebügel (16) an ge-
eigneter Stelle festschrauben. Für eine bessere
Handhabung lässt sich bei Bedarf der Montage-
bügel durch Abschrauben der Feststellschrauben
(15) abnehmen.
2) Zum Ausrichten des Gerätes am Montagebügel
die zwei Feststellschrauben (15) lösen. Die ge-
wünschte Neigung des Gerätes einstellen und
die Schrauben wieder fest anziehen.

Bedienung
Das beiliegende Netzkabel an die Netzbuchse (8)
anschließen und den Stecker in eine Steckdose
(230 V~/50 Hz) stecken. Das Gerät mit dem Schal-
ter (10) einschalten. Die Laserspiegel fahren in ihre
Ausgangsstellung. Währenddessen wird im Display
(1) die Software-Version angezeigt. Danach ist das
Gerät betriebsbereit.
5.1 Musiksteuerung
Zur Steuerung des LSX-30 über das integrierte
Mikrofon (14) den Eingang DMX IN (11) nicht an-
schließen. Wenn an ihm kein DMX-Steuersignal
anliegt, leuchtet die gelbe LED MASTER (6) und
das Display (1) signalisiert
Wichtig!
Für die Musiksteuerung ohne die Fernbedienung
LC-3 die Funktion Blackout ausschalten, ande-
renfalls bleibt der Laserstrahl ausgeschaltet:
1) Die Taste MENU (2) dreimal drücken, so dass im
Display
(blackout mode) erscheint.
2) Die Taste ENTER (7) drücken. Das Display blinkt
und zeigt

Mounting
The unit must safely be mounted in an expert way.
Observe in any case the warning notes in chap-
ter 2.1.
WARNING 1. To prevent heat accumulation within
the unit, the mounting location must
be selected in such a way that a suf-
ficient air circulation will be ensured
during operation. The unit must
have a minimum distance of 15 cm
to adjoining surfaces and the air
vents at the housing must not be
covered in any case.
2. If the unit is installed as a suspended load
above persons, it must additionally be secured
(e. g. by a safety rope at the mounting bracket).
Fix the safety rope in such a way that the maxi-
mum falling distance of the unit is 20 cm.
1) Tightly screw the LSX-30 with the mounting
bracket (16) to a suitable place. For a better
handling it is possible to remove the mounting
bracket by screwing off the setscrews (15), if
required.
2) To align the unit, release the two setscrews (15)
at the mounting bracket. Adjust the desired incli-
nation of the unit and retighten the screws.

Operation
Connect the supplied mains cable to the mains jack
(8) and the plug to a socket (230 V~/50 Hz). Switch
on the unit with the switch (10). The laser mirrors go
to their start position. During this time, the software
version is displayed (1). Then the unit is ready for
operation.
DMX-120,
5.1 Music control
For control of the LSX-30 via the integrated micro-
phone (14) do not connect the input DMX IN (11). If
no DMX control signal is present at this input, the
(Show 1).

die grüne LED SOUND (6) öfter kurz aufleuchtet und
sich die Figur oder deren Bewegung ändert.
5.2 Steuerung mit der Fernbedienung LC-3
Über die als Zubehör erhältliche Fernbedienung
LC-3 von „img Stage Line" können verschiedene
Funktionen gesteuert werden.
1) Die Fernbedienung an die Buchse REMOTE
CONTROL (13) anschließen.
2) Der DMX-Eingang DMX IN (11) darf nicht ange-
schlossen sein.
3) Nach dem Einschalten des LSX-30 ist der Laser-
strahl abgeschaltet; auf der Fernbedienung
leuchtet neben der Taste STAND BY (17) die
LED. Zum Ein- und Ausschalten des Lasers die
Taste STAND BY betätigen.
4) Mit der Taste MODE (19) den Betriebsmodus
auswählen:
Modus „Sound" (musikabhängige Steuerung der
Figuren und deren Drehung); die LED neben der
Taste leuchtet nicht
Modus „dynamische Figuren" (Figuren ändern
ihre Größe und Drehrichtung); die LED leuchtet
Modus „statische Figuren" (Figuren ändern nicht
ihre Größe und Drehrichtung); die LED blinkt
5) Für eine musikabhängige Steuerung die Laut-
stärke der Musikanlage so einstellen, dass die
grüne LED SOUND (6) öfter kurz aufleuchtet.
6) Zum Anwählen einer anderen Figur die Taste
FUNCTION (18) drücken.

Important!
For the music control without remote control LC-3

4) Press the button ENTER to memorize. The dis-
play shows
for some seconds. Then the
selected operating mode is displayed again. If
the button ENTER is not actuated within
8 seconds, the unit will return to its previous
adjustment.
Adjust the volume of the music system so that the
green LED SOUND (6) will shortly light up more fre-
quently and the figure or its movement will change.
5.2 Control with the remote control LC-3
It is possible to control several functions via the
remote control LC-3 from "img Stage Line" available
as an accessory.
1) Connect the remote control to the jack REMOTE
CONTROL (13).
2) The DMX input DMX IN (11) must not be con-
nected.
3) After switching on the LSX-30, the laser beam is
switched off; the LED next to the button STAND
BY (17) lights up on the remote control. To switch
on and off the laser, actuate the button STAND
BY.
4) Select the operating mode with the button MODE
(19):
Mode "sound" (control of the figures and their
rotation depending on the music); the LED next
to the button does not light up
