5.2.3 Recording the adjustment process (if available)

INFORMATION
Recording the adjustment process is not available in all countries. Check whether this option is available in the
Personal Bionics Tuning Application.
Recording the adjustment process makes it easier to compare and reproduce various settings. The adjustment pro­
cess is stored as a report in PDF format. Recording is started with a menu on the right edge of the screen.
Displaying the adjustment process
1) Open the tablet's start screen.
2) Tap the white folder symbol to display the reports.
3) Tap the desired file.
5.3 Troubleshooting
The measures in this section help with systematic troubleshooting and error correction. They are carried out when
errors occur during the adjustment of the prosthetic foot.
1) Make sure no stockings or pant legs are caught in the footshell.
2) Verify that the prosthetic foot calibrates itself when it powers up (see Page 34).
3) Before changing settings: Check the prosthetic alignment to exclude errors based on that (see the table
below).

Tap the arrow on the right edge of the screen to open
the menu.
Tap the REC button to start recording. A square is
displayed while the recording is running. Tapping
the button again stops the recording.
Tap the ? button to display information about the
diagram.
Tap the X button to erase all points (steps) from the
diagram.
The menu also displays information about the signal
strength of the Bluetooth connection, charge level, tem­
perature and number of steps for the prosthetic foot.
Recording the adjustment process
1) Tap the REC button to start recording. This auto­
matically erases all previously walked steps from the
diagram.
2) INFORMATION: Only let the patient walk on a
level surface while recording.
Have the patient walk at least 20 steps at each
speed (slow, patient preference, fast).
3) Tap the button again to stop recording. A dialogue
opens.
4) Enter the required information and tap the Export
button.

H2_XXXXXXXX_YYYYMMDD
HHMMSS_tuning.pdf is saved. XXXXXXXX is the
serial number of the prosthetic foot. The remaining
information refers to the date and time.
