Solution
Check the alignment of the prosthesis. Insufficient socket flexion (excessive
plantar flexion of the prosthetic foot) can cause this problem.
Check the diagram to see if all steps fall into the normal range. If the power
response is too high, decrease the parameters Slow Power and Fast
Power in the basic settings.
Check whether the activation timings are set too early. If necessary,
decrease the parameter Slow Power Timing/Fast Power Timing in the
advanced settings.
The problem was not resolved
Decrease the parameter Toe Strike in the advanced settings. Note that the
powered push-off is reduced while climbing stairs or walking up steep
ramps.
Check the calibration process.
Check the prosthetic joint and remove possible obstacles.
Check the battery charge level.
Make sure the battery is properly installed in the prosthetic foot.
Decrease the parameter Virtual Dorsi/Plantarflexion in the advanced
settings by 30 % to 50 %. Increase the parameters Slow Power Timing
and Fast Power Timing by 10 %. Bring the prosthetic foot into dorsiflex
ion.
Prerequisite: The prosthetic foot is not under load.
>
1) Press the button on the battery for 3 seconds.
→ The green LED on the battery lights up. The prosthetic foot performs a calibration.
A single, high beep is emitted and the prosthetic foot vibrates briefly when the cal
ibration has been completed.
2) If a number of soft beeps is emitted, the calibration has failed. Bring the prosthet
ic foot to plantar flexion until the calibration is completed.
