2.5.2.

Master Reset

When SW2 is positioned ON and power is applied to the terminal, a Master Reset function will be
initiated, restoring all settings to their factory defaults. Reset of the calibration values during a
Master Reset is controlled by SW4.
2.5.3.

Firmware Flash

When this switch (SW3) is positioned ON, the terminal will enter a special mode for flashing
firmware at power up.
2.5.4.

Reset Calibration

If SW4 and SW2 are positioned ON at the same time, and a Master Reset is initiated, all calibration
values will be reset to factory default values. If SW4 remains OFF during a Master Reset, the
calibration values will not be reset.
2.5.5.

Factory Test Mode

This switch (SW5) should be OFF for normal operation. It is used for factory calibration and testing.
If this switch is ON, the display will indicate [ Factory Test ] and normal operation is inhibited.
2.6.

Closing the Enclosure

2.6.1.

DIN and Panel Mount

Carefully position the edges of the main board and the COM2/DIO option board (if present) within
the slots on the side of the enclosure as the boards are slid into the enclosure. Refer to Figure 2-73.
Align the connector openings in the cover and overlay with the connectors on the main board and
option boards and then snap the front cover into place as shown in Figure 2-74.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THE ENCLOSURE FOR THE IND131xx AND IND331xx
TERMINALS BE PROPERLY AND SECURELY CLOSED TO MAINTAIN THE INTEGRITY OF THE
ENCLOSURE, ESPECIALY WITHIN HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENTS.
