2) Pull the sock band over the prosthetic foot and place it on the tube protector at an appropriate
height.
Only stretch out the sock band as far as necessary!
3) Put on the socks by pulling the collar of the sock over the sock band.
7 Handling

7.1 Protector Installation
1) Stretch the tube protector and place it over the tube adapter.
2) Insert the tube protector into the groove of the ankle protector until it engages (see fig. 13).
3) Stretch the joint protector and slide it over the joint (see fig. 14).
4) Place the joint protector over the tube protector. Make sure the tube is enclosed completely
by the recess of the joint protector.
5) Close the joint protector by pressing in both calf closures (see fig. 15).
With use of the sock band
1) Remove the shoe from the prosthetic foot.
2) Pull the sock band over the prosthetic foot and place it on the tube protector at an appropriate
height (see fig. 16).
7.2 Removing the Protector
1) Remove the shoe from the prosthetic foot.
2) Stretch the sock band and take it off over the prosthetic foot.
3) Open the calf closures on the joint protector.
4) Stretch open the joint protector and remove it from the knee joint.
5) Pull the tube protector out of the groove of the ankle protector.
6) Stretch open the tube protector take it off the tube adapter.
INFORMATION
Removing the ankle protector from the prosthetic foot is not possible. The ankle protector stays
on the prosthetic foot even when the protector is not being used.
8 Maintenance
► During the standard inspection of the prosthesis components, also inspect the product.

8.1 Cleaning and Care

NOTICE
Improper product care
Damage to the product due to the use of incorrect cleaning agents.
► Only clean the product with a damp cloth and mild soap (e.g. 453H10=1 Ottobock Der­
maClean).
1) Clean the product with a damp cloth and mild soap (e.g. Ottobock 453H10=1 Derma Clean)
when needed.
Ensure that no liquid penetrates into the system component(s).
2) Dry the product with a lint-free cloth and allow it to air dry fully.
